Council Holds Four FY27 Capital Budget Hearings Feb. 9–10

The Montgomery County Council will hold four public hearing sessions on Feb. 9 and 10, 2026 (1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. each day) to receive testimony on the FY27 Capital Budget and FY27-32 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) covering County Government, MCPS, Montgomery College, M-NCPPC, WSSCWater, and other agencies. The six-year CIP includes projects for parks, roads, schools, libraries, fire stations, housing, police, transit, and other public facilities. The deadline to sign up to testify is Feb. 6, 2026 at 12 p.m.
