Councilmember Kristin Mink (District 5) will introduce Bill 3-26, the County Values Act, on January 20, 2026. The bill would require a judicial warrant for ICE to access non-public areas of county facilities, mandate signage and staff training, prohibit immigration enforcement in county parking lots and garages, and provide an optional signage template for private businesses. The bill is co-sponsored by Councilmembers Stewart, Jawando, Evans, Friedson, Sayles, and Glass.
