Council President Fani-González, Council Vice President Balcombe and Councilmember Sayles will introduce Zoning Text Amendment 26-01 at the Jan. 20 Council meeting. The amendment would define data center as a new use in the County Zoning Ordinance, specify zones where data centers may locate as conditional uses, and establish minimum siting standards. A public hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24.
