WSSC AMI Smart Water Meter Pilot Holds District 7 Meetings

WSSC Water's AMI Smart Water Team will hold a series of virtual community meetings in January and February 2026 to inform District 7 residents about the AMI Smart Water Meter Pilot Program, which provides near real-time water usage data and transitions customers from quarterly to monthly billing. Scheduled sessions include Montgomery Village Foundation on January 21, Derwood HOA #2 on January 26, and Derwood/Hollybrooke Civic Association on February 10, all at 7:00 PM via Zoom. Participation is free and spots are limited; the one-year pilot is expected to launch in November 2025.
