Wheaton Arts & Entertainment Board Establishes 501(c)(3) Nonprofit

The Wheaton Arts and Entertainment Board of Directors, selected in fall 2024, made significant progress toward establishing a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to promote arts and economic development in the Wheaton community. The restructuring was part of a strategic vision introduced by Councilmember Fani-González in 2023 to create an independent entity outside of County government. Further updates on the nonprofit's development are expected from the Board in the months ahead.
