Since the weekend, approximately 1,000 people have been assisted by the County's Services to End and Prevent Homelessness division and community partners during the winter storm. More than 250 emergency beds were made available and more than 100 families were kept out of the cold. Residents who see someone without shelter can contact the Crisis Center at 240-777-4000; medical emergencies should be directed to 911.
