Montgomery County launched its Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) in January 2026, a public-private partnership involving Adventist HealthCare, Holy Cross Health, MedStar Health, Suburban Hospital, Healthy Montgomery, and DHHS. The plan is built on a Community Health Needs Assessment completed in January 2026, identifying top priorities: access to comprehensive care, healthy living, and essential community services. Partners are developing regional workplans and a shared dashboard to track outcomes.
