MoCo MFD Businesses Hit Record $274M in FY25 Awards

The Montgomery County Office of Procurement awarded a record $274 million to certified Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned (MFD) businesses in Fiscal Year 2025, representing 21.21% of $1.29 billion in eligible dollars — a 10% increase over the prior year. This marks the third consecutive year the MFD Program has set a record in total dollars awarded to certified vendors. The County also awarded $133 million to Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) vendors, representing 33.7% of eligible spending — the highest percentage since the program launched in 2009.
