EITC Awareness Day, VITA Kick-Off Rescheduled to Feb. 6

The Montgomery County Community Action Agency, in partnership with the Universities at Shady Grove and the County's VITA Partnership, has rescheduled its Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day and VITA Kick-Off event to Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, after a prior postponement due to inclement weather. A community resource fair featuring local nonprofits and County services runs 11 a.m.–1 p.m., followed by a formal program with remarks from County Executive Marc Elrich, Council President Natali Fani-González, and other elected officials at noon. The event takes place at the Universities at Shady Grove Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Building, Room 1201, 9631 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville.
