MCDOT Teen Video Contest Accepts PSAs Through Feb. 28

Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is accepting entries for its annual 'Heads Up, Phones Down' video contest through Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. County public and private high school students are invited to create 30-second PSAs in English or Spanish promoting awareness of distracted driving and walking, either individually or in groups of up to four. Winners can receive prizes including an Apple MacBook Air, Apple Watch, or cash prizes up to $800 split among group members, with winning videos posted to MCDOT's Safe Routes to School website on March 16.
