A U.S. 29 Flash extension into Howard County is expected to open in fall 2026, while the Veirs Mill Road Flash corridor is next in line for full construction following utility work that began in fall 2025. The central section of the Rockville Pike/355 Flash and North Bethesda corridor is slated to follow.
