Montgomery County has launched Ride On Flex Zone 918, a zero-fare, on-demand neighborhood transit service covering the Ednor, Sandy Spring, Norwood, and Cloverly communities, as well as New Hampshire Avenue between MD Route 108 and the White Oak Transit Center. The service replaces transit access previously provided by Metrobus Z2 and connects riders to the Flash BRT at the White Oak Transit Center. Riders must reserve a trip in advance; the flex bus only stops for those with reservations.
