#SelfieWithShirley Contest Runs All February at Oakley Cabin

Montgomery County and County Cable Montgomery have launched the #SelfieWithShirley social media contest throughout February 2026, honoring Black History Month at the Oakley Cabin African American Museum in Brookeville. Visitors aged 13 and older can photograph AI Shirley — a 3D AI virtual interpreter — share posts on Google Maps, Instagram, X, or Facebook with the hashtag #SelfieWithShirley and tag @CountyCableMoCo for a chance to win one of nine $25 gift cards or a $100 grand prize. Posts are judged by XR Montgomery staff on creativity, shot composition, AR element quality, whimsy, and ability to generate interest in the site.
