County Opens First Federal Worker Career Center in Wheaton

Montgomery County has opened the Mobilize Montgomery Federal Workforce Career Center (FWCC) in Wheaton, described as the nation's first dedicated facility to support displaced federal workers. The center offers job placement assistance, career coaching, and financial counseling, and is open Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are recommended; job seekers can also email fwcc@worksourcemontgomery.com or call 240-283-1509.
