The Montgomery County Department of Transportation has completed the New Hampshire Avenue Corridor Study, recommending a BRT concept featuring curbside bus lanes, queue jumps, transit signal priority, and local bus pull-outs between Fort Totten, D.C. and Randolph Road in Colesville. A draft report has been submitted to the Montgomery County Planning Board for review. A public hearing is scheduled for March 12, 2026, where Planning staff will present their findings and the public may testify.
