Montgomery County public parking lots, garages, and meters will be free on Presidents' Day, Monday, February 16, 2026. County-managed trash and recycling collection will be suspended on February 16, with all remaining pickups that week shifted one day later; the final collections will occur Saturday, February 21. The Shady Grove Solid Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Center will also be closed on February 16.
