Fani-González Introduces Five-Bill More Housing NOW Package

Councilmember Natali Fani-González has introduced the More Housing N.O.W. (New Options for Workers) package, comprising five legislative components: a Workforce Housing ZTA, Workforce Housing Opportunity Fund, Office-to-Housing ZTA with companion SRA, Office-to-Housing Tax Abatement Bill, and a doubling of the county's Homeowner Assistance Program investment. The ZTA and bill proposals are scheduled for a County Council public hearing on March 11, 2025. The package targets zoning changes along major corridors in R-200, R-90, R-60, and R-40 zones with a 15% workforce housing requirement.
