TE Committee Reviews $2.2B Transportation CIP for FY27-32

The Transportation and Environment (TE) Committee meets Feb. 19, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. to review six of seven subcategories in the FY27-32 Transportation CIP, which the County Executive recommends at more than $2.2 billion—a $455.5 million (25%) increase over the previously approved plan. The increase is driven largely by a $295 million rise in General Obligation Bond funding and $144 million more in assumed federal aid. Eight new projects are proposed, including multiple bridge improvements and a Parking-Silver Spring project; the Mass Transit subcategory will be reviewed separately on March 2.
