ECON and GO Committees to Hear Affordable Housing Tax Bill

The Economic Development and Government Operations committees will hold a joint session on March 27, 2025 to work on Expedited Bill 2-25, which would establish a minimum payment in lieu of taxes for conversions of high-vacancy commercial properties to residential use. The bill is part of the More Housing NOW package. A public hearing on the legislation was held March 11.
