ZTA 26-01 Public Hearing Held on Data Center Zoning Limits

A public hearing for Zoning Text Amendment 26-01 was held on February 24, following a community forum on February 3 hosted by the County Executive on data center legislation. ZTA 26-01, introduced by Councilmembers Sayles, Fani-Gonzalez, and Balcombe, would limit data centers to the Industrial Zone, require conditional use review, and establish residential setbacks. More than forty residents provided input at the February 3 forum.
