Sayles Visits Adventist Healthcare Food as Medicine Program

On February 17, 2026, Councilmember Laurie-Anne Sayles and her staff joined the OFSR team on a site visit to Adventist Healthcare's Food as Medicine partnership. The program, supported by OFSR's FY25 Food as Medicine Grant, collaborates with Mercy Clinic, One Acre Farm, Manna Food Center, and Giant Food to provide locally grown produce, medically-relevant food packages, and nutrition education to pediatric patients. Grant-funded activities have served over 600 children.
