TE Committee Reviews $2.2B Transportation CIP Mass Transit

The Transportation and Environment (TE) Committee will meet March 2, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to review the Mass Transit subcategory of the FY2027-2032 Capital Improvements Program. The recommended mass transit funding exceeds $1.3 billion, representing more than 58 percent of the $2.2 billion total transportation CIP and a 27 percent increase over the FY25-30 approved CIP. The subcategory covers Bus Rapid Transit, Ride On improvements, zero-emissions bus fleet expansion, park-and-ride lots, and the Purple Line project.
