OGM Now Verifying Grantee Charity Registration with Maryland Secretary of State

The Office of Grants Management (OGM) has begun verifying the Maryland Secretary of State charity registration status of all grant applicants and current grantees. Organizations must maintain a registration status of "Current" or "Exempt" to be eligible; non-compliant applicants will be disqualified and non-compliant grantees may have payments frozen or grant agreements terminated. Applicants can verify their status via the Maryland Charities Public Registry.
