Planning Board to Review New Hampshire Ave BRT Study

The Montgomery County Planning Board will review and vote on a recommendation for the Draft New Hampshire Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Study at its meeting on March 12, 2026. The study, completed by MCDOT, recommends a Hybrid Alternative BRT concept spanning Fort Totten in D.C. to Randolph Road in Colesville, incorporating curbside bus lanes, queue jumps, transit signal priority, and local bus pull-outs. The public may sign up to testify or submit written comments ahead of the hearing.
