County Council Adopts CEDAW Resolution for Women's History Month

The Montgomery County Council adopted a resolution in support of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) to mark the start of Women's History Month in March 2026. The resolution reaffirms the County's commitment to advancing gender equity, including expanding access to high-quality early care and education. The Council will work in close partnership with the Montgomery County Commission for Women on related initiatives.
