EC Committee Gets MCPS Attendance and Truancy Update

The Education and Culture (EC) Committee will meet March 9, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. to receive an update from MCPS representatives on student attendance and engagement, including data on specific sub-groups and implementation of the MCPS Attendance Action Plan released in July 2023. The presentation will also cover strategies being used to address chronic absenteeism.
