Parks FY27-32 CIP: $280M Exec Recommendation Below M-NCPPC Request

The Planning, Housing and Parks (PHP) Committee will meet March 9, 2026 at 1:45 p.m. to review the FY2027–2032 CIP for M-NCPPC, which requested $292 million — a 6.4% decrease from the prior CIP. The County Executive recommends $280 million, a 10.6% decrease, with reductions in GO Bond and current revenue funds. A new Parkway Improvements Project, covering rehabilitation of Sligo Creek Parkway, Beach Drive, and Little Falls Parkway, is among the items requested.
