ABS 'Spirited Discussions' Podcast Eyes Spirits Industry Shifts

Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) released a new episode of its "Spirited Discussions" podcast titled "Navigating Change in the Spirits Industry." ABS Director Kathie Durbin and Distilled Spirits Council of the United States President and CEO Chris Swonger joined host Jocelyn Rawat to discuss shifting consumer preferences, global trade impacts, and local policy effects on product selection and pricing. The episode also notes that in 2025, ABS expanded access to spirits-based ready-to-drink products to approximately 400 independent beer and wine stores in Montgomery County.
