Energy Summit Debuts Hands-On Decarbonization Workshop April 29

The Montgomery County Energy Summit will debut a 'Let's Decarbonize!' hands-on workshop on April 29, 2026, at the Silver Spring Civic Building. Attendees will use ASHRAE/USGBC/NYSERDA decarbonization planning frameworks to develop a mock compliance plan for an actual Montgomery County building covered by BEPS. Small groups will evaluate GHG reduction strategies considering costs, trigger events, and contextual factors.
