MCDOT Holds Virtual Meeting on Glen Haven, Sligo School Sidewalks

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 7 p.m. via Microsoft Teams to present proposed sidewalk construction plans along 10 streets within the walksheds of Glen Haven Elementary School (10900 Inwood Avenue, Wheaton) and Sligo Middle School (1401 Dennis Avenue, Silver Spring). The plans stem from Safe Routes to School walkability studies assessing existing infrastructure and identifying improvements for students walking and biking to school.
