DHHS Hosts Free Colorectal Cancer Walk at MLK Park

Montgomery County's Cancer, Tobacco & Cannabis Prevention Program (DHHS) will hold its first Annual Walk for Life for Colorectal Cancer Awareness on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreational Park (1120 Jackson Road, Silver Spring). The free event features a guided walk along the HeartSmart Trail, educational materials, and information on the county's no-cost colorectal cancer screening program for eligible residents aged 45 and older.
