Montgomery County Taxicab Rates Rise to $2.50 Per Mile

Montgomery County taxicabs, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles, began charging $2.50 per mile as of February 1, up from the previous $2 per mile rate. A new $1 nighttime surcharge applies to trips made between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The County's Call-n-Ride program continues to offer subsidies for qualifying residents using on-demand taxi services.
