LaTika Ochieng Named First Female-of-Color Depot Chief at Ride On

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation announced the appointment of LaTika Ochieng as Ride On's first Woman of Color to serve as Depot Chief. Ochieng joined MCDOT in 2007 as a Transit Bus Operator and advanced through roles as a Transit Training Instructor and Transit Operations Supervisor over nearly two decades. She also helped launch Ride On's first Bus Roadeo Committee and led modernization of the agency's Standard Operating Procedures.
