Council President Natali Fani-González is organizing a free citizenship clinic on Saturday, April 11 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wheaton Library, 11701 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring. The event is a collaboration with the Maryland Governor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center, the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, and local immigration nonprofits. Residents eligible for U.S. citizenship can receive free legal guidance on the screening and application process.
