Montgomery County Now Has Over 12 Miles of Bus Lanes

MCDOT Deputy Director for Transportation Policy and Planning Haley Peckett reported that Montgomery County has expanded from less than one mile to more than 12 lane miles of dedicated bus lanes. The county also passed legislation enabling automated bus lane enforcement in Maryland and advanced five Bus Rapid Transit projects. A regional initiative to prioritize transit funding was also passed during this period.
