County to Launch $100K Community Gardening Grant in Late March

The Office of Food Systems Resilience (OFSR) and Office of Grants Management (OGM) are preparing to launch the FY26 Resident and Community Gardening Grant Program in late March 2026. The program offers $100,000 to fund food gardening initiatives that increase the volume of fresh food available to Montgomery County residents experiencing food insecurity. The anticipated grant performance period runs from approximately June 30, 2026 to August 31, 2027.
