Montgomery County's Department of Health and Human Services plans to launch the FY26 Youth First: Evidence-Based Prevention Grant Program in late April 2026. The program will provide one nonprofit with between $100,000 and $150,000 to implement a comprehensive evidence-based prevention curriculum for students in grades 4 through 6, focused on social-emotional skills, decision-making, and substance use prevention. The grant term is estimated to begin in June 2026.
