County Prepares $3.99M Lighthouse Immigrant Services Grant, Launches April 1

Montgomery County's Office of Grants Management and Department of Health and Human Services are preparing to launch the FY27 Lighthouse Grant Program on approximately April 1, 2026, offering $3,993,574 to one lead organization to coordinate a network of partners delivering services to immigrant populations. Services include centralized intake, housing, healthcare, education, immigration legal services, intensive case management, and preparedness planning for immigration-related disruptions. The County Council has not yet appropriated the funds; final amounts may change pending the budget process.
