FY27 EquiCare Childcare Subsidy Grant Program to Launch April 1

Montgomery County's Department of Health and Human Services Early Childhood Services is preparing to launch the FY27 EquiCare Subsidy Seats Grant Program on approximately April 1, 2026, pending release of the Recommended FY27 Operating Budget. The program will solicit applications from licensed childcare providers in Montgomery County to cover the cost of quality childcare for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks through 3 years. Final funding amounts are subject to County Council appropriation.
