New Skate Park Opens at Ovid Hazen Wells Park in Clarksburg

Montgomery Parks has opened a new skate park at Ovid Hazen Wells Recreational Park in Clarksburg, designed for skateboarders, in-line skaters, scooter riders, and bikers of all ages and abilities. It is the county's fourth skate park and its first upcounty location. A ribbon cutting for the full park renovation — which will also include a new playground, carousel, and walking trails — is planned for May 2026.
