Council Holds FY27 Budget Public Hearings April 7–9

The Montgomery County Council will hold public hearings on the FY27 Operating Budget on April 7 (1:30 and 6:30 pm), April 8 (1:30 and 6:30 pm), and April 9 (1:30 pm) at the Council building in Rockville. The County Executive's proposed budget includes a 6.3-cent property tax increase dedicated to MCPS, an income tax rate increase from 3.2% to 3.3%, and hikes to the 9-1-1 fee, solid waste charges, water quality protection charge, facility rental fees, and EV charging rates. Committee worksessions will follow the hearings.
