Council Seeks Applicants for Planning Board Vacancy

The Montgomery County Council is seeking applicants to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Montgomery County Planning Board created by the expiration of Commissioner James Hedrick's (Democrat) term on June 14, 2026. Applicants must be Montgomery County residents registered to vote in the county. Applications — including a cover letter and resume of no more than four pages — must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, submitted to Council President Fani-González via email or mail to the Stella B. Werner Council Office Building in Rockville.
