Climate Advisory Committee, Earth Day Events Scheduled This Month

Montgomery County DEP has published a schedule of upcoming April 2026 environmental events. Highlights include a Climate, Energy, and Air Quality Advisory Committee meeting on April 8 (7–9 p.m.), a Takoma Park Earth Day Event on April 12 (10 a.m.–3 p.m.), and Rockville Science Day on April 26 (noon–5 p.m.). Food Scraps Recycling Drop-Off is available at local farmers markets on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the month.
