DEP Sliplining Method Saves $7M on Stormwater Pipe Repairs Since 2021

Montgomery County DEP has completed 20 stormwater pipe repair projects using a sliplining method since 2021, saving over seven million dollars compared to traditional replacement costs. The technique is used to rehabilitate corrugated metal pipes, some of which run under roadways. DEP has released a video detailing the sliplining process.
