HEECAP Home Retrofit Grants Close April 15 for Nonprofits

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and OGM are offering two parallel FY26 HEECAP Homes Grant Programs, both closing April 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The county-funded program offers up to $1,000,000 (two to five awards ranging $100,000–$400,000), while the DHCD-funded program offers up to $500,000 (two to three awards ranging $100,000–$300,000). Both programs fund nonprofits to retrofit income-eligible homes for energy efficiency, healthy indoor environments, climate resilience, and all-electric appliances, with a performance period from June 3, 2026 to June 2, 2027.
