Bike to Work Day Set for May 15 in Montgomery County

Montgomery County residents are invited to participate in the regional Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 15, 2026. The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is sponsoring eight pit stops across the county — in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, North Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, Wheaton, and Germantown — featuring music, refreshments, vendor exhibits, and prize raffles including a new bicycle. The first 18,000 cyclists who register and participate countywide will receive a free T-shirt and be entered in a bicycle giveaway drawing.
