Montgomery County DEP received $850,000 in federal funding for its Healthy, Efficient, Electrified, Climate-Adapted Pilot (HEECAP) Homes Grants Program. The funds will go to nonprofit community partners that identify income-eligible households and deliver electrification, pre-weatherization, and climate-resilience improvements. Nonprofits may apply for HEECAP funding through the County's Office of Grants Management by April 22, 2026.
