DEP Awarded $785K to Plant 1,000 Trees, Expand Forests

Montgomery County DEP received $785,000 in federal funding for strategic reforestation and habitat restoration. The funding will support planting 1,000 new shade trees on private and public properties, structural pruning of 1,000 young trees on county-owned land, and expanded reforestation efforts.
