HHS Committee Reviews $77.7M Social Services Budget, Down 3%

The HHS Committee will review the $77.7 million FY27 Operating Budget for the DHHS Social Services Office on April 20, 2026, a decrease of $2.4 million (3%) from the approved FY26 budget. The County Executive's recommendation includes $800,968 in programmatic and staffing additions and enhancements. The Social Services Office provides protection, prevention, intervention, and financial assistance services for vulnerable children and families.
