Bill Introduced Requiring Landlords to Notify Tenants Before Evictions

The Montgomery County Council has introduced Expedited Bill 31-25, Landlord-Tenant Relations – Landlord Notice Requirements – Evictions. The bill would require landlords to notify both tenants and the County of scheduled evictions and establish penalties for landlords who fail to comply.
